Garbageman here. 44 years old. White, Str8, Built, Alpha type. Real life Garbageman. 8 hour work days. Lifting, Sweating, Stinking. I use the same socks/boxers multiple days in a row while working. After a few days I put them in a Tupperware container. If they aren't bought in a week or 2, I wash and start the cycle over.
