Did you know that Warner Bros. Refused to let James Dean wear a leather jacket in his iconic 1955 film Rebel Without A Cause in case in inspired more leather jacket louts to cause problems with teenage gangs who were already sporting them. James Dean was forced to wear a "Harmless" Harrington jacket instead which would essentially calm down teenage boys from trying to cause trouble!

Now that we have gone into Lockdown once again, may I recommend this fantastic thriller The Serpent to watch on BBCIplayer. It is based on real life crimes of back packers and travellers being murdered in the Far East during the 1970's for nefarious reasons. It's a binge worthy job.

I can really recommend Godless on Netflix. It's very binge-worthy with a great cast. Netflix are really upping their game lately with some brilliant shows.

For those of you who loved The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix, May I recommend that you hunt down this beautiful French film called Populaire. It’s similar in a way to The Queen’s Gambit. It is about a secretary in 1959 who has a talent for speed talent and enters competitions to see who is the fastest typist in the world. I can’t recommend it enough and encourage you to watch the trailer on YouTube to get a flavour of this not so known gem. X

I'm just settling down to start binge-watching the brand new series four of The Crown. A fantastic series. I'm looking forward to seeing how The Queen and Diana clash! Roll on Episode one...

Now that another Lockdown is almost upon us, I urge all those lovely ladies out there with Netflix to watch this incredible series called The Queen’s Gambit. It is about an orphan girl in the 1960’s who quickly realises her talent as a chess player and causes ripples in the male dominated world of her competitors. It is highly addictive and binge-worthy to the highest degree. Anya Taylor-Joy who plays the lead part has the most beautiful pair of eyes that have ever been filmed. She is a living Bambi. Enjoy.
